Rare historical maps reveals 'Chakma Kingdom' existence

The rare historical maps from British Map archive proving "CHAKMA KINGDOM" existence.

     The British, Dutch, Spanish, France, German and Portuguese Maps of late 1500 AD of sixteen century shows the domain of Chakma Kingdom as "Chacomas" in the maps in present Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT)region, now in Bangladesh.

Chakma girl bags silver in 12th South Asian Games 2016

Dangubi Fullapati Chakma

Guwahati 7 Feb, 2016: On the second day of competitions in Guwahati on Sunday, female weightlifter Dangubi Fullapati Chakma from Bangladesh won a silver medal in the 58kg category by lifting a total of 144kg -- 63kg in snatch and 81kg in clean and jerk. 

The 21-year-old weightlifter hails from Rangamati town in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladsh.
